Jesus & Religious Tolerance

Nahur Fonseca has been an activist spiritist practitioner for more than 20 years. He started his activities in the Youth Spiritist Movement of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and has continued to work with youth and their families in the US since 2002. Mr. Fonseca is a member of the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Massachusetts, where he also coordinates the meetings for English speakers. Beauty Day at Hopkins

On December 13th, from 11am to 3pm, we will be having a Beauty Day at the Hopkins Center, where we will be interacting with our friends at the Nursing Home, making them feel special and beautiful. We are having a fun make up section followed by a photoshoot. For more information, please contact Sergio.

Loving Bags for the Homeless

Donate and Participate with us, bring your donations to join forces. Each person can bring as many bags as they can to donate and bring "bulk items", so we can prepare the bags together The 13 items have to be placed in a plastic bag, then put in a decorative bag. Each bag should have a minimum of 13 items: 2 winter items (gloves, scarf, blanket, sweater, hats. Could be used) 1 fun fact (domino game, cards, puzzle, crosswords) 1 loving message (message of hope from the Gospel / Bible or personal) 1 canned food (soup, pre-made pasta, vegetables) 2 beverages (water, juice) 1 fruit (green banana or soft fruit) 1 sandwich (ham+cheese or butter+cheese) 1 muffin or cereal bar 1 toothbrush

Christmas at Hopkins Center

On December 25th, we will be at the Hopkins Center, spending the Christmas afternoon with our friends at the Nursing Home and distributing some gifts to them. Nursing Home Performance

Fred Gouveia is a violinist and conductor. He has been involved in Portuguese-to-English translations of Spiritist works and also raising awareness of art and music within the Spiritist movement. IESS Brunch and Movie

NOVEMBER 15th, 2pm Dear friends, please save the date for another great event at our IESS. We will be eating a late brunch (Potluck style), then enjoying a great movie about "Martin Luther". After the movie, we will have Q & A. ​ SYNOPSIS: "In his church, Luther denounces the indulgences, calling them "just a piece of paper." He then posts his 95 theses on the door of the church, calling for an open debate regarding the indulgences. For this act, Luther is called to Augsburg where he is questioned by the church officials." Come and join us!!! Loving Donation $15
