IESS turns 12!
Join us in August as we celebrate IESS’ 12th Anniversary with a lecture and dinner!

This passage where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman by the well is filled with teachings for our lives. We will have live music and celebrate IESS 12th year with a delicious dinner as well. Join our community for this joyous celebration!


The Good News - Forgiveness
Join us on Sunday 18, at 6 p.m. for our lecture from the book The Good News.
On Chapter 10, "Forgiveness," Humberto de Campos tells us a passage where Jesus is talking with Philip and Simon Peter, and explains that "forgiveness does not exclude the need for vigilance as love does not dispense with the truth. Peace is an asset that every heart is obligated to defend in order to work well in the divine service that was entrusted by God."


Movie Night - Paul, The Apostle of Christ
On Saturday 10, at 6:00 p.m. we will be watching the movie Paul, Apostle of Christ.
Luke ventures to Rome to visit Paul -- the apostle who's bound in chains and held captive in Nero's darkest and bleakest prison cell. Haunted by the shadows of his past misdeeds, Paul wonders if he's been forgotten as he awaits his grisly execution. Before Paul's death, Luke resolves to write another book that details the birth of what will come to be known as the church.

Movie Night
On Saturday 13, at 6:00 p.m. we will be watching the movie What Dreams May Come.
The movie tells the story of Chris Nielsen, who dies in a car accident and is guided through the afterlife by his spirit guide, Albert. His new world is beautiful and can be whatever Chris imagines. Even his children are there. But, when his wife, Annie, commits suicide and is sent to hell, Chris ignores Albert's warnings and journeys there to save her.

The Good News - Old and Young
Join us on Sunday 28, at 6 p.m. for our lecture from the book The Good News.
On Chapter 9, "Old and Young," Humberto de Campos tells us a passage from Jesus with the apostle Simon Zealot, when the Master explains that life, here on Earth, is like a great tree. "Childhood is its green branch. Youth is made up of its fragrant and beautiful flowers. Old age is the fruit of experience and wisdom."
